The Uttar Pradesh government police and administration has destroyed standing crops in Atraulia (without giving notice) on land which has been acquired for UPDA without registration being done. The farmers who went to speak about this were beaten up. A joint delegation from All India Kisan Mahasabha and All India Kisan Sabha met the ADM and submitted a 2-point memorandum addressed to the Governor, demanding action against the police and administration who destroyed the farmers' crops and beat up the farmers, compensation for the crop loss, and proper compensation as per the law to farmers for their land. After submitting the memorandum, the kisan leaders said that the Yogi government's anti-farmer face has been fully exposed by this act of destroying crops in Atraulia without paying compensation to the farmers and beating up farmers by the police and administration.
