A public dialogue was organised by HRCPS (a human right organisation) and Human Right Protecting Collective on 15 October, in Puducherry to save human right activists from life threat from rightist terror groups such as 'Sanathan Sanstha'. In this public dialogue many human right activists like Prof. Kalyani, Henry Tiphagne of People's Watch, AIPF leader Mangaiyar Selvan, leaders of CPI(ML), CPI, CPIM and leaders of various social organisations participated. The meeting attended by significant number of activists, cultural personalities, political activists echoed similar sentiments and resolve. The meeting also condemned the Puducherry Governor, acting as BJP-RSS representative to create a foot hold for the BJP and its political interest in the Puducherry Union Territory.
