CPIML legislative party in-charge and Politburo member Rajaram Singh said on 13 May that our Party MLAs have sent recommendations for the remaining 1 crore MLA funds to be used for arrangement of necessary health equipment, but the concerned District administrations are very lax in this matter. During this crisis the administration should be working on a war footing. The old snail's pace will not suffice to tackle this pandemic.

So far Tarari MLA Sudama Prasad, Paliganj MLA Sandeep Saurabh, Phulwari MLA Gopal Ravidas, Arwal MLA Mahanand Singh, Ghoshi MLA Rambali Singh Yadav, Dumraon MLA Ajit Kushwaha and others have submitted recommendations for their MLA fund to be spent on Covid patients. Out of these we have received information only from the Arwal District administration that tenders have been issued. This slow pace cannot achieve any results; the administration must work with much greater speed and efficiency.

Paliganj MLA Sandeep Saurabh has recommended his MLA fund to be used for arrangement of the following for the Paliganj Sub-division Hospital: 40 oxygen cylinders; 40 flow-meters; 40 oxygen masks; 30 oximeters; and 1 amulance. For the Paliganj Primary Health Centre he has approved: 20 oxygen cylinders; 20 flow-meters; 30 oxygen masks: 10 oximeters. For the Dulhin Bazaar Primary Health Centre he has recommended: 20 oxygen cylinders; 20 flow-meters; 30 oxygen masks; 10 oximeters; and 1 ambulance.

Phulwari MLA has recommended for Phulwari Community Medical Centre: oxygen plant with capacity for filling 40 cylinders; 2 ambulances; 1 hearse; 20 beds.

For Punpun Health Centre: 1 ambulance; 20 oxygen cylinders with 20 litre capacity; 20 flow-meters; 50 oxygen masks.

He has also recommended upgradation of Phulwarisharif Primary Health Centre.

Tarai MLA Sudama Prasad has recommended the following: 100 oxygen cylinders; 50 flow-meters; 25 oximeters; 25 oxygen trolleys; 200 oxygen masks; 50 beds; 100 bedsheets; 10 oxygen concentrators; 25000 masks; 100 high quality sanitizers; 2 ambulances.

MLA Mahanand Singh has recommended for Arwal Sadar Hospital: 100 oxygen beds; 100 oxygen cylinders, flow-neters and oximeters; 25 oxygen trolleys, oxygen masks, oxygen concentrators and masks.

Dumraon MLA Ajit Kushwaha has recommended:

For the Dumraon Sub-division Hospital: 100 oxygen cylinders with 20 litres capacity; 200 flow-meters; 1000 masks; 10 oxygen concentrators; 1 hearse; 10 oximeters.

For the Navanagar Community Health Centre: 20 oxygen cylinders; 30 flow-meters; 200 masks; 1 oxygen concentrator; 10 oximeters; 5 budecort inhalers.

Ghoshi MLA Rambali Singh Yadav has recommended:

  • For Shaheed Shakti Kumar Referral Hospital: 10 oxygen cylinders; 10 flow-meters; 10 oxygen masks; 10 oximeters; 10 nebulizers.
  • For Kako Community Health Centre: 10 oxygen cylinders; 10 flow-meters; 10 oxygen masks; 5 nebulizers; 1 ambulance.
  • For Hulasganj Community Health Centre: 10 oxygen cylinders; 10 flow-meters; 10 oxygen masks; 10 oximeters; 5 nebulizers; 1ambulance.
  • For Okri Health Centre: 10 oxygen cylinders; 10 flow-meters; 10 oxygen masks; 10 oximeters; 5 nebulizers; 1 ambulance.
  • For Ghoshi Primary Health Centre: 10 oxygen cylinders; 10 flow-meters; 10 oxygen masks; 10 oximeters; 5 nebulizers; 1 ambulance.

The other MLAs have also submitted similar recommendations for their respective constituencies.
