Jharkhand: CPIML Campaign to Implement Electoral Promises

A 'Promise Reminder' campaign is being organized by the CPIML across Giridih Assembly constituency in Jharkhand. The campaign started from Shastri Nagar on 14 August 2022, led by Giridih party in-charge Rajesh Sinha. People gathered at Ward No. 9 and discussed the electoral promises of the Modi government in 2014 and 2019. The promises made by the Hemant government were also discussed. The unanimous pronouncement was, if they cannot fulfill their promises why do they make them in the first place? CPIML opposes conning the people with false promises. The government must be with the people on their issues. Empty promises are not good enough; they must be backed up by action on the ground.

District Committee member Preeti Bhaskar said that if the people who made the promises heard their own words now, they will also feel bad. CPIML leaders Taj Hassan and Ujjav Sao said that the youth looking for jobs have been betrayed.
