CPI(ML) Calls for Immediate Arrest of the Accused in Murder of Dalit girl in Kaimur

CPI(ML) Bihar State Secretary Kunal has demanded immediate arrest of the accused in case of murder of 14-year-old dalit girl Sundari Kumari on December 20 in Chainpur Nagar Panchayat in Kaimur district of Bihar. A Fact finding team headed by District Secretary Vijay Yadav found that Sundari Kumari was murdered by 50-year-old Ramavatar Yadav, a influential farmer who is known for being a bully and goonda. The accused brutally assaulted Sundari and her classmate for plucking green gram leaves from his farm. Sundari Kumari was severely beaten with sticks by Ramavatar Yadav and left her to die. She was rescued by passer-by but died on the way due her injury. Sundari’s father Jitendra Ram is manual worker from Dalit community 

CPI(ML) has demanded a compensation of Rs 20 lakh to the victim's family, a government job, construction of a permanent house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and immediate arrest of the accused and punishment by speedy trial. Protest march was organized in Babua demanding to administration to ensure these demands.
