All India People's Forum has demanded strict action against the officers and jawans responsible for killing and injuring innocent adivasis in Silger (Sukma) in Chhattisgarh, and proper compensation for all the victims. The State government should take responsibility for the incident and take steps to avoid repetition of such incidents.

AIARLA observed Demand Day across the country on 17 May amidst the 2nd wave of Covid. Responding to the countrywide call given by the organization, Demand Day was observed with full adherence to Covid protocol at homes, work places and offices in various Districts. CPIML activists also participated in the Demand Day program. The demands were raised through dharnas, posters, slogans and social media and a memorandum addressed to the President was sent.

CPIML Bihar State Secretary wrote a letter to the Bihar Chief Minister regarding the rapid and alarming spread of Covid infection in rural areas. In his letter he has made the following demands:

1. Medical teams should be sent forthwith to all villages to do house to house Covid testing.

We are going through very difficult times. All around us, people are dying, gasping for breath; bodies are being cremated en masse, 24/7.

CPIML West Bengal Sate Committee has submitted the following Charter of Demands to the Chief Secretary and Health Secretary of West Bengal Government on 26 April 2021, demanding effective and appropriate measures of treatment in view of the second wave of Covid pandemic spreading across the country.

Subject: Blatantly communal hate speech by BJP candidate Suvendu Adhikari

Sir,
We are sure that you have noted the communal hate speech by BJP’s candidate from the Nandigram constituency of West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari, which has been widely reported in the media.

The CPIML legislative party leader Mahboob Alam condemned the Bihar government's attempt to whitewash the heart-wrenching death of 6 workers in the Khagaria school compound wall collapse by calling it an accident. He said that this is not an accident but the result of sheer negligence. The Chief Minister cannot hush up the truth by giving Rs 4 lakhs compensation to the victims' families. He demanded a full enquiry by a committee constituted by the Assembly.

Below is the text of the letter written to the Inspector In-Charge, Kotwali Joshimath, District Chamoli. This letter was sent by registered post to Joshimath Thana because the Thana in-charge was away in disaster-affected Tapovan and the Deputy Inspector who was present in the Thana expressed his inability to accept this letter in the absence of the in-charge.
